TUESDAY Aug 29th Community Crime Prevention Meeting Arbor Creek Middle School
7:00 pm Tuesday Aug 29 at Arbor Creek Middle School 2109 Arbor Creek Carrollton. From the neighborhood make a left on Hebron, pass the railroad west to Spurwood make a right to the north, corner of Spurwood and Arbor Creek SE corner. Police Chief David James and others will meet and educate north Carrollton. This is the second annual meeting we have had. Another neighborhood has put this together. Tell your friends that live around here they are invited as well.


GOLF TOURNAMENT CANCELED SEPT 21
We were unable to pull together a group to work on the golf tournament. There is still a great need for scholarships. May 2006 we gave 8 $1000 scholarships and had 38 apply, our biggest group to date. Our hope is to have a fund raiser in the future, be it a breakfast, luncheon, dinner, or maybe a golf tournament to be scheduled later.


DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS
If you have any interest in helping with the organization and recruitment for an event please respond and I will stay in touch for future plans. We hope the Hebron Community wants to support scholarships in the area. SCHOLARSHIPS 2006
The Hebron Community Alliance has given between 5 and 12 scholarships since the first graduating class at Hebron. Each year we also have helped by making the selections for various booster clubs that raise money for scholarships. This year we made the selections for the PTSA, Band Booster and Cheerleading Booster Clubs. Congratulations to the following recipients from all the groups.

• Hebron Community Alliance - 8 $1000 scholarships go to Jessica Bolton, Tonia Branche, Courtney Burge, Kaitlin Kime, Lauren Ratliff, Jennifer Slattery, Stephen Swan, Alicia Warren
• PTSA - $1000 Scholarships go to, Scott Parks, Mari Reader
• Band Booster - $750 Scholarships go to, Andrea Fowler, William Wollett
• Cheerleading Booster - $1000 Scholarship to Tommy Clayton
